A family experience raised a lasting question: how can technology be made precise and reliable enough to create meaningful value in people's lives?
XIHE began close to home. Joyce Ho watched her father live with chronic metabolic illness while her mother carried much of the daily work of keeping routines and life stable.
That experience did not produce a product claim. It produced a more rigorous question: could a physical technology be measured, repeated, and documented well enough to move beyond improvisation and into products that people could actually use?
The answer was never to make a material promise for a personal problem. The work became a materials and engineering challenge: can graphene far-infrared technology be characterized, documented, integrated, and repeated in real product systems?
That question led XIHE into a materials-research and innovation ecosystem associated with Jiageng Innovation Laboratory. From there, the work could move through measurement, standardization, product engineering, and manufacturing development.
The progression remains central to XIHE today: technology should be judged by whether it creates reliable value in a real product, not by a dramatic claim alone.
